About

Why Hydrogen

Hydrogen is the lightest and most common element in the world. Almost all of the hydrogen is bonded in water and different hydrocarbons. In the atmosphere hydrogen exist in the form of H2, a diatomic gas molecule.

The fuel cells are the endpoint in the circular, hydrogen-based energy  flow. The technology was discovered already in the 1830s, but has been refined and developed, especially during the last decade when new synthetic membrane materials increased the efficiency and longevity.
In the fuel cells the hydrogen is joined together with air and creates electricity and heat. The only emissions created is chemically clean water vapor.
